"A Custom Wedding?"

Some people see weddings as gigantic ceremonies with dozens of brides maids.  Others don't.  What everyone does agree on is that a wedding is a legal joining of two people. The only elements necessary to obtain that level of legality is:
  • The couple must be over 18 years of age
  • They must obtain a marriage license from the state they wish to be married in
  • They must be married by an ordained minister or a judge
  • The ceremony must contain "The Declaration of Intent" (Do you {X} take {Y} in marriage...

That's it!  J. Patrick McDunn, a duly ordained minister, can work with you to structure your wedding your way.  If you prefer a traditional ceremony or a more contemporary one, J. Pat can deliver it that way. If you want your wedding to include mentions of God or not, if you want to include traditions like the Lighting of a Unity Candle or Jumping the Broom, you are free to add them or leave them out.

If you would like to have your friends do readings or sing songs or read poetry, you are free to include those elements too.   Furthermore, if you want to write and recite your own custom vows, J. Pat can help you create your ceremony to make it be truly your own.  Isn't that the way it should be?
